Gramorr’s Trap, and the Fight against the Musis Box Monster (Behind the Scene - S01E04 “The Birthday”)

Second part of episode 4 “The Birthday” behind the scenes.

Let’s continue right where we stopped : Iris is trapped, and while Talia and Auriana are looking for her, and it’s time for a little chat with Gramorr. The first real chat between these two in fact, and we reveal the first clues regarding the Queen and King : are they prisoner of Gramorr ? Or is it a trick from the evil wizard ? Both are equally likely. 

Then, the fight sequence : it’s one of the shorter of the show. It was initially supposed to be longer, but we prefered to trim it and give more time to the dreams and Iris’ doubts.

Note : In this video, I’ve cut the transformation to make it quicker to watch, but they’re of course in the final episode. 

And as always with storyboard shots, you can try to find what made its way to the final episode, and find out what else was changed / removed. ;)
